At Xiquet, our story is deeply rooted in the personal journey of Chef and Owner Danny Lledo, whose name carries a special significance. The term "Xiquet de Casa," which translates to "house kid," is an endearing nickname bestowed upon Danny by his father, family, and friends in Valencia, Spain. Xiquet pays homage to Chef Lledo's upbringing, blending the rich culinary traditions of Valencia with the vibrant flavors of the Mid-Atlantic region. As the son of a Valencian chef trained in France, Danny draws upon his heritage and experiences to create a dining experience that honors both his roots and his journey, inviting guests to savor the essence of Valencian cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
