About Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum

When you visit the Museum, you know you're seeing the real deal. The aircraft, spacecraft, and related artifacts on display made history and tell the story of countless scientific breakthroughs. The Museum also has a second location, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia. There you can see You'll see the iconic giants of aviation and space, including Space Shuttle Discovery, a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, an Air France Concorde, and the B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay. Both locations are open daily from 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. Extended hours may be offered at the Museum in Washington, DC. Visit airandspace.si.edu for confirmation of times.
